Picture Series — Amherst

Some photos from my 3-days in Amherst with my dear friend this spring break. There was lots of knitting, conversing, and eating to be had! The best sort of vacation.

The Montague Bookmill — a cozy spot to curl up with a good book:

Waiting for burgers and shakes at Northampton Local:

Knitting on the couch with old Disney movies in the background. We discovered a large VHS collection and VCR and powered through flicks like Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, & Babe.

Raos, S’s favorite coffee shop in Amherst. They had a great vibe and were packed with students and faculty. After eavesdropping on a classical studies/art history conversation we settled in for some knitting, chatting, and good coffee.

Northampton looked simply gorgeous in the evening…

Such a pretty moon! I made tons of people look up when I took this picture — mission accomplished.
